Just back from Clarksdale!
OKIE DOKIE.. Just got back from a pilgrimage to the Mississippi Delta. We attended The Oxford American’s Most Southern Weekend On Earth. It was a blast and we got to stay at the Shack Up Inn, eat tamales, drink beer, meet new people, listen to music and soak up the Delta.. Thanks to Warwick, Kathleen, Jessica, Marc and the whole OA crew for putting together such a great weekend. There were many highlights and here are a few pictures!

It is crawfish season
We are blessed with so many options for food here in the United States and particularly in New Orleans. It is crawfish season and that means that the boils have begun! Sausage, new potatoes, garlic, corn and whatever else thrown into the boil makes it that much better!
